Good Things Candles
Made right here in Colorado!
Good Things Candles are
one of the newest, most luxurious candles around, and they're made in Windsor,
Colorado. They're made of Palm Wax, which is cleaner than soy, burns
slower, and doesn't need a jar to hold its shape! Note the finish on the
large candle above: a few have this slightly antiqued surface. When
Palm Wax dries, it has a crystalline appearance--that's
how you know it's genuine. No other material does that.
Each one is hand-poured, so there are slight differences from candle to candle.

Grapefruit Sage The scent is a little astringent like the grapefruit peel, but softened with the perfume of the Western Sage. Grapefruit is naturally up-lifting, as you knew from eating it in the morning, and sage soothes and can ease depression and grief. A soft sage green color, sandwiched between a rich, antique gold.

Peppermint StickWonderful and invigorating (you thought it was just the sugar in a peppermint stick candy, right?) with creamy white, rich reds, and a soft, fresh pink. Great with Christmas coming, of course, but also super when you really need a pick-up! |
Blackberry SageThese are the Jumbo Sizes which can be special-ordered in any color. Note that the proportions are a little chunkier and more of a design statement than the smaller candles. Shown is Blackberry Sage, as ripe and langorous as a summer afternoon. It's also available in the standard sizes.

Yuzu (yoo-zoo)A Yuzu is an oriental citrus fruit, used more for flavoring food (like lemon) and not much for eating. The scent is a very soft cross between a grapefruit and a tangerine. If you look at the enlarged picture, you'll see that the crystals in the palm wax are particularly distinct. Bright oranges and soft green design.

Watercress and AloeLime greens, spring grass, new leaves--all the colors of renewal, in a gentle, fresh scent that won't overwhelm or tire you. |
 Mango
and SpiceWarm rich colors of brown, rust and pumpkin. The layers look like the Colorado Monument, and the spice is a cozy cardamom. |
AquaLight turquoise to deep marines and all the shades between, layered for an under-seascape. The scent is slightly citrus--lemongrass? Refreshing and soft. We have this in both round and square versions. |
Ginger LimeWarm layers of molten gold and intense greens, in a scent that's just what it says, but mostly ginger. The lime's muted--just enough to keep the ginger from being sharp on your nose. |
